There was something missing from the sentences, from the characters, and from the story. This book made me work to figure out who was talking and what was going on when what was really happening wasn’t complicated at all! It was the inability of the writing to let me know who was talking and the jumpiness of all the scenes. It wasn’t the paranormal part of this book that bothered me so much.
